Dustin Schaefer

Dustin Schaefer is an associate in the Private Equity group at Goodwin. He focuses his practice on health care transactional and regulatory matters.

Dustin regularly advises health care companies and private equity sponsors on mergers and acquisitions and public offerings in the health care and life science industries, including hospitals and healthcare systems, physician and dental practices, management/dental service organizations, hospice and home health platforms, pharmacies, and medical device companies. He also has experience in assisting provider platforms with their growth strategy including add-on acquisitions, complex service arrangements and joint ventures.

Before joining Goodwin, Dustin practiced at another international law firm as a healthcare attorney. Prior to law school, Dustin worked at the DC Department of Insurance and a national healthcare non-profit focusing on healthcare policy issues.
