Goodwin Advises Alpha Wave on Investment in Moonwalk Biosciences’ $70M Series B Financing Round
The Life Sciences, Technology, Healthcare, and Investment Funds and Capital teams advised Alpha Wave Ventures (“Alpha Wave”) on its investment in Moonwalk Biosciences, Inc., (“Moonwalk Biosciences”) in connection with its $70 million Series B financing round. The round was led by Alpha Wave and YK Bioventures, with participation from existing and new investors, including Eli Lilly and Gaorong. Proceeds will support advancement of Moonwalk’s lead obesity candidate, MW101, into first-in-human clinical studies in late 2027, expand the company’s pipeline of tissue-targeted siRNA medicines, and further advance its proprietary discovery platform.
