Cassandra (Cassie) Snyder is an associate in Goodwin’s Complex Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice and is a member of the firm’s Appellate and Supreme Court Litigation practice.
Previous Professional Experience
Cassie draws upon her experience as a trial attorney in the Federal Programs Branch of the U.S. Department of Justice. As a trial attorney, Cassie litigated high-profile constitutional and administrative law challenges to federal statutes, executive orders, and other agency actions across a wide range of subject matters—including healthcare and pharmaceuticals, ERISA, housing, employment, international law, and national security. She has personally briefed and argued many cases in federal courts across the country. While at the Department of Justice, she was awarded the Attorney General’s Award for Distinguished Service and the Civil Division’s Perseverance Award.
Previously, she clerked for the Honorable Henry F. Floyd of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the Honorable R. Brooke Jackson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.
