James Taylor’s practice includes drafting and prosecuting European, British, and international patent applications, freedom-to-operate analysis, IP diligence, and assisting with opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office. His technical expertise spans a broad range of life science technologies, particularly gene therapies, immunotherapies, and nucleic acid sequencing technologies.

James holds a PhD in biomedical sciences from the Quadram Institute. His doctoral research focused on understanding how endothelial receptor crosstalk orchestrates angiogenesis and enables pathological neovascularization.
