Kahn Wiedis is an associate in the firm’s Business Law department and a member of its Private Equity group. Kahn’s practice is devoted primarily to mergers and acquisitions, with an emphasis on representing private equity funds and their portfolio companies. He also represents public and private companies on transactions and other general corporate matters in a broad range of industries, including technology and software, healthcare, life sciences, consumer products, food and beverage, and financial services.

Kahn actively participates in various pro bono initiatives, including veteran advocacy and resolving tangled title real estate disputes in Philadelphia.

Prior to law school, Kahn served in the United States Marine Corps as a Forward Scout Observer in the artillery field.

  • Represented Apnimed in its formation of a U.S. joint venture with Shionogi, a leading global research-driven pharmaceutical company based in Japan

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Goodwin, Kahn worked as an associate at Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders LLP.

While in law school at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, Kahn worked as a student law counselor for the Clinic for Law and Entrepreneurship, where he advised a Philadelphia non-profit organization on organizational structure, compliance, and general business matters. He also served as the President of the Military and Veterans Law Society and the Chair of the Wills for Heroes program.
