Lily Xu Ph.D.

Dr. Lily Xu is an associate in the firm’s Business Law department and a member of its Intellectual Property practice. She joined Goodwin in 2018. She is a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Dr. Xu manages patent portfolios and develops domestic and foreign patent prosecution strategies for start-up and later-stage biotechnology companies. She also assists clients in intellectual property due diligence for various types of business transactions, including public offering and private financing deals. Dr. Xu is familiar with many technical areas, such as immuno-oncology, CRISPR technology, cell therapy, gene therapy, antibody development and diagnostic methods.
