What You Need to Know About Criminal Trade Secret Enforcement (1 CLE Credit)

The Department of Justice is stepping up its efforts with respect to prosecuting the theft of trade secrets. Goodwin partners Neel Chatterjee and James Gatta (a former Assistant U.S. Attorney and Chief of the Criminal Division in the Eastern District of New York) will examine the tools the government uses to investigate and prosecute trade secret thieves as well as issues facing company counsel when faced with a potential breach of confidential and proprietary information. They will also discuss the impact of such activities on civil litigation, as well as how to address inquiries and investigations where a company or individual may be a target.
