The M&A Advisor has named Goodwin Procter partner Chris Nugent a winner of the 2013 “40 Under 40” Recognition Awards. The annual awards recognize emerging leaders in the M&A, financing and turnaround industry.
Mr. Nugent, a partner in the firm’s Private Equity Group, joined Goodwin Procter in 2012 and was recently recognized as a “Rising Star” in the New York legal community by the New York Law Journal. Earlier this year, Mr. Nugent was named to the Legal 500 United States’ “Leading Lawyers” list, and won the ACG New York Champion’s Award for “Cross Border Deal of the Year” for his work on the acquisition of AndersonBrecon Inc. and Brecon Holdings Limited by Packaging Coordinators, Inc.
