Goodwin Procter Expands Antitrust Practice in Washington, D.C.

Goodwin Procter, a leading Am Law 50 and Global 50 law firm, announced today that a partner has joined the firm as a partner  in its Antitrust Practice in Washington, D.C. She comes to Goodwin from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.

The partner, who will co-chair Goodwin’s firmwide Antitrust Practice, concentrates on a broad spectrum of antitrust matters, including the antitrust elements of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, distribution and intellectual property arrangements, and other business conduct. She focuses on representing clients before the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, state attorneys general and international competition law enforcement agencies.

Uniquely, she has served the highest decision-makers at both federal antitrust enforcement agencies. She was an Attorney Advisor to former FTC Chairman and Commissioner William Kovacic where she offered advice on competition and consumer protection matters. She also served as a counsel to the Assistant Attorney General for Antitrust at the Department of Justice where she advised the Assistant Attorney General and the Deputy Assistant Attorneys General on criminal and civil enforcement matters.

The partner received her J.D. from George Washington University Law School and her B.S. in economics and political science from American University. She’s admitted to practice in New York, the District of Columbia, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and the U.S. Supreme Court.
