Goodwin partner An-Yen Hu was named to the Daily Journal’s 2018 40 Under 40 list. The award recognizes up and coming lawyers for their impact on the industry, leadership in the legal community and activities in bar organizations.
Hu, a member of the firm’s Technology Companies and Capital Markets practices, was recognized for his successful track record guiding clients through the entire corporate life cycle, from pre-incorporation planning to mergers, acquisitions and public offerings.
Specifically, Hu was honored for his work advising Morgan Stanley and the underwriting syndicate in the $3.9 billion initial public offering of Snap, Inc. The Snap IPO was the largest IPO of 2017 and among the largest in the U.S. tech industry since 2014.
“The size of that deal, the prominence of the transaction and the successful outcome were key to building my reputation in the community,” Hu said in his interview with Daily Journal.
