The LawCareers.Net Awards 2020 have named Goodwin’s London office the Best Trainer – U.S. Firm in the City and partner Ed Hall the Best Training Principal – Small Trainee Intake.
Goodwin’s London office is one of the fastest growing firms in the City, with lawyers deeply experienced in the life sciences, technology, real estate and private equity sectors as well as significant on-the-ground capabilities in debt financing, intellectual property, privacy and cybersecurity, regulatory, restructuring, tax, litigation and dispute resolution. The office started its successful trainee program in 2017, and continues to provide participants with a variety of training across practice areas as well as significant client interaction, mentorship and networking opportunities. In naming Goodwin the best trainer in London, LawCareers.Net called the firm’s culture “a major asset,” as they are “very friendly and obviously care very much about their new trainees.”
Hall is a London-based partner in Goodwin’s Private Equity group, where his practice focuses on the formation of private investment funds. He pays attention to all trainees and their progress and makes himself available to have one on one discussions with individual trainees about their learning and future.”
