Hopin Completes $450 Million Series D

A cross-border Technology team advised Hopin, one of the fastest growing startups in Europe, on the completion of its $450 million Series D funding round led by Arena Holdings and Altimeter Capital. Both are new investors for the company, which has also secured first-time investment from Adams Street Partners, Untitled Investments, and XN in this round. Previous investors Andreessen Horowitz, DFJ Growth, General Catalyst, GIC, IVP, Northzone, Salesforce Ventures, Slack Fund, Temasek, and Tiger Global also returned for this round.

Goodwin also advised Hopin on its $400 million Series C in March 2021 and it’s acquisitions of Streamable, Boomset and Attendify. The company is now valued at $7.75 billion having raised more than $1 billion since February 2020.

Founded in 2019, Hopin enables brands and communities to create all-in-one live video experiences for their audiences. Through its platforms, attendees can learn, interact, and connect with people from anywhere in the world. A remote-first company, Hopin has more than 800 employees in 47 countries.

The Goodwin team was led by Adam Thatcher, David Mardle, Charles Baker and Sonja Jounus and included Craig Schmitz, Michelle Knoop, Kara Kuritz and Jacob Osborn.
