The German Private Equity team advised affiliates of client, Sun European Partners, in the completion of the sale of IM Chemicals GmbH, an Austrian based leading provider of specialty chemical products serving the pharmaceutical, coatings, and fuel & lubricant markets, to Vertellus Specialties. Transaction terms were not disclosed.
Prior to its demerger, IM Chemicals was part of ESIM Chemicals GmbH, which Sun acquired from ARDIAN France S.A. in 2018.
