Michael Harden is a science advisor in Goodwin’s Business Law Department and a member of its Intellectual Property practice. He uses his expertise in the life sciences to assist clients with patent drafting, patent prosecution, IP diligence, and freedom to operate analyses. He joined Goodwin in 2021.
Prior to joining Goodwin, Dr. Harden earned his Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he carried out his doctoral research in the laboratory of Alan Grossman. For his dissertation work, he used a variety of molecular biology, genetic, and microscopy techniques to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying how mobile genetic elements interact with their host cells.
