Michael Miller is an associate in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of its Private Equity group. He joined Goodwin in 2017.
Mr. Miller focuses on the representation of financial sponsors and their portfolio companies in the structuring, negotiation and implementation of complex corporate and transactional matters. He regularly represents clients in connection with leveraged buyouts, divisional carve-outs, tender offers, divestitures and auction processes, cross-border investments, capital restructurings and reorganizations, joint ventures, and other general corporate and governance matters. In addition, Mr. Miller has experience counseling private equity funds and their portfolio companies on sensitive adversarial matters and transformative corporate events, such as initial public offerings.
Mr. Miller’s practice covers a broad spectrum of industries, including healthcare, media and technology (including telecommunications), consumer products and manufacturing.
