Serene Qandil is an associate in Goodwin’s Business Law department and a member of its and Life Sciences group. Serene provides strategic advice and corporate legal counseling to companies in the life sciences and healthcare industry, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies.
Experience
Serene’s representation of startups and later-stage companies spans the entire corporate life cycle, from formation and commercialization through maturity. Serene’s practice primarily involves mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, minority investments, early-stage financings, restructurings, private tender offers for late-stage private companies, and carve-out transactions. In addition, Serene represents venture capital and private equity firms in connection with their investments in emerging growth and later-stage life sciences companies as well as management teams, investors, banks, and others in the life sciences ecosystem.
