- Representation of numerous financial services companies, employers, and individuals in lawsuits brought by 401(k) and ESOP plan participants alleging violations of ERISA.
- Representation of Quicken Loans in lawsuit filed against the federal government concerning the administration of the FHA loan program and defense of a False Claim Act lawsuit and investigation brought by the Department of Justice.
- Representation of a national mortgage servicer in lawsuit brought by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, state attorneys general, and state financial regulators.
- A national bank in a lawsuit alleging systemic violations of the Fair Housing Act.
- Defense of a financial institution in suit brought by the Federal Housing Finance Agency involving approximately $26 billion in mortgage-backed securities that were purchased by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
- Defense of financial institutions in putative class actions relating to mortgage loan modifications.
- Defense of a financial institution in various suits brought by other financial institutions relating to the purchase of mortgage-backed securities.
