Summary
In December of 2015, Teva participated in a conference that was held at the Washington University in Seattle. The title of the conference was: “Future of Innovation in Medicine - Incentives for New Medical Treatments and Global Health”. This conference, “How to Ensure Investment is Made in Potential New Uses for Existing Medicines for the Benefit of Patients Worldwide”, was a continuation conference. It put more emphasis on payers perspective and on government affair participants in order to move the discussion a phase forward and address additional issues that relate to repurposing of known drugs, including Price and Reimbursement processes. Like the previous one, this conference was also co-organized with Novartis and hosted by Sr. Robin Jacob. Goodwin was a sponsor of this conference. Elaine Blais moderated panel discussions.
