Careers in Patent Law and Technology Transfer: Short-course

This event is a four session short-course on careers for scientists in patent law and tech transfer. Over two of the sessions Goodwin's Beth Ashbridge will discuss the patent prosecution process and the patent litigation process. They will also present a day in the life of Science Advisors in IP Litigation and provide tips on how to search and apply for positions in patent law after your Ph.D. and/or postdoc. The course is open to Memorial Sloan Kettering, Cornell University Graduate School, and The Rockefeller University Ph.D. students, postdocs and other faculty members.
