BOSTON, Sept. 7, 2005 — Goodwin Procter LLP, a leading national law firm with offices in Boston, New York, New Jersey and Washington, DC, today announced the addition of V. Carl Walker to its Leveraged Finance Practice. Walker joins the firm as partner in its New York office. Walker's leveraged finance practice focuses on representing borrowers and lenders in complex commercial syndicated and bilateral revolving and term loan, senior, junior and mezzanine transactions. Walker also has substantial expertise in UCC perfection matters. In addition, Walker devotes a substantial portion of his practice to representing buyers and sellers in sophisticated U.S. and international public and private merger and acquisition transactions ranging in size from several million to several billion dollars.
Walker is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, Metropolitan Black Bar Association, National Bar Association, Legal Outreach and Dartmouth Lawyers Association.
Prior to joining Goodwin Procter, Walker was a partner at Dorsey & Whitney. He received his A.B from Dartmouth College and J.D. from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey School of Law.
