A team of Goodwin Procter attorneys represented Klout, the social media influence scoring company, in its recent sale to Lithium Technologies for approximately $200 million.
Headquartered in San Francisco and founded in 2001, Lithium develops software tools to give companies data on social technology platforms. Klout was launched in 2008 and measures social media influence for businesses and individuals, scoring them on a scale of 1-100.
Goodwin’s deal team was led by partners Caine Moss and Larry Chu and included associates Ryan Stouffer, Natalie Martirossian on the corporate side; Labor & Employment partner Lynda Galligan and Tax partner Kelsey Lemaster.
