On March 3, the Massachusetts Commercial Brokers Association (CBA) hosted their annual awards ceremony at the InterContinental Boston. The awards recognize the Greater Boston area’s most significant real estate deals of 2015 and honor local industry professionals who have distinguished themselves among their peers. Alnylam Pharmaceuticals and NB Development Group, two clients of the firm’s Real Estate Leasing practice, were honored this year for deals that Goodwin advised on.
The Life Science Deal of the Year was awarded to Alnylam Pharmaceuticals in connection with its 295,030 square foot lease at 675 W. Kendall in Cambridge, which was noted as the largest laboratory lease in the region last year. The Most Creative Deal was awarded to NB Development Group as landlord in its leasing agreement with Boston Bruins for 25,000 square feet at 80 Guest Street in Brighton, part of the 1.76 million square foot Boston Landing campus which is currently under development.
