Goodwin was ranked third in the The Deal’s inaugural Private Equity League Tables for the first quarter of 2016. The firm advised on 24 total deals announced between January 1 and March 31 including representing 15 target companies, the most of any firm in the ranking.
Among many noteworthy deals in Q1 2016, Goodwin represented Warburg Pincus LLC, through its affiliate, in the sale of its entire investment in QuEST Global Services Pte. Ltd to an affiliate of Bain Capital.
The Deal’s Private Equity League Tables track the advisory class – law firms, investment banks and public relations counsel – that help financial sponsors make deals. The tables rank law firms based on the volume of merger and acquisition transactions including add-ons and management buyouts in which a private equity firm had a stake in the target, buyer or seller.
Goodwin’s nationally recognized Private Equity Group focuses on buyouts, recapitalizations, growth equity investments and portfolio company transactions in the U.S. and internationally with a leading position in the U.S. middle-markets and growth equity. With a team of over 100 attorneys, the practice covers the full life cycle of clients’ investments – from fund formation to exit and everything in between.
