Goodwin Appoints Leaders of Technology M&A Practice

Global law firm Goodwin announced today the appointment of partners Larry Chu and Joshua Zachariah as co-chairs of the firm’s Technology M&A practice.

The firm also has extensive experience representing investors, boards and special committees in technology transactions. Chu specializes in the technology, Internet, digital media and marketing, artificial intelligence, financial technology, consumer, e-commerce and hardware and software industries with all manner of M&A and complex transactions, both domestic and cross-border.He represents venture and private equity funds in connection with the acquisition of, and investment in, certain public and private portfolio companies, as well as banking clients in connection with their roles as financial advisor on M&A transactions. 

Zachariah has deep public M&A experience across the private equity, technology and life sciences industries. He handles all M&A matters for public company and private equity clients, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, strategic investments, SPAC transactions, and take-privates. He also advises companies and their boards of directors in connection with corporate governance and shareholder activism matters.
