Goodwin Appellate Litigation Co-Chair, Kevin Martin, Announced as Chairman of the Board of the New England Legal Foundation

Global law firm Goodwin today announced that Kevin Martin, co-chair of the firm’s Appellate Litigation practice, has been named Chairman of the Board of the New England Legal Foundation, a nonprofit public interest law firm in the region addressing policy and constitutional concerns related to free enterprise. 
The Board of Directors is composed of senior corporate and law firm attorneys, mostly General Counsel and Managing Partners, representing major corporations and law firms from all six New England states in the region.
“As Chairman of the Board of the New England Legal Foundation, I look forward to working with the organization and its members to produce positive policy impacts for individuals and small businesses throughout the region,” said Martin.
At Goodwin, Martin has argued and briefed numerous cases in federal and state appellate courts around the country, and has extensive experience in both trial matters and internal and government investigations. He previously clerked for Justice Antonin Scalia on the United States Supreme Court and Judge Laurence Silberman on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
