Daily Journal has named partner Koray Bulut one of California’s Top Labor & Employment Lawyers for the third consecutive year. The 2022 list of honorees is comprised of lawyers across the state who have made significant contributions in labor and employment law through signatures wins, career achievements and thought leadership.
A San Francisco-based partner, Bulut is the leader of Goodwin’s California Employment practice and Co-Chair of the firm’s Trade Secrets, Employee Mobility + Non-Competes practice. Bulut’s work focuses on employment counselling and litigation of employment and employee mobility matters. He has nearly two decades of experience representing Bay Area technology companies in a wide variety of issues, including employment discrimination, harassment, wage and hour violations, unfair competition, enforcement of non-competes and other restrictive covenants, misappropriation of trade secrets, and founder disputes. Bulut also has a proven track record of advising directors and senior management teams on avoidance or resolution of thorny and reputation-threatening employment issues.
In addition to his successful practice, Bulut serves as Co-Chair of Pride@Goodwin, which is committed to recruiting, retaining and advancing LGBTQ talent, plus creating an inclusive and supportive environment across the firm. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Labor & Employment Section of the San Francisco Bar Association.
