Goodwin has launched its second Asian office in Singapore, 13 years after it first broke into Asia via Hong Kong, Law.com reports. The firm's Private Investment Funds partner Greg Barclay will chair the office, having relocated from Hong Kong. Joining him are Private Equity partner Abhishek Krishnan and counsel Ananth Lakshman, both of whom will also be relocating from Hong Kong, and a team of associates. Private Investment Funds partner Elyn Xing, who joined Goodwin last year, will also be spending significant time in Singapore. "Goodwin's global platform is uniquely positioned to serve clients at the busy intersection of capital and innovation, and Singapore - a magnet for both start-ups and capital flows - is at the heart of this intersection," said Greg Barclay, chair of Goodwin's Singapore office. "we are thrilled to launch the office and assist our clients with achieving their strategic objectives."
