Mandee Gruen Honored in New York Law Journal’s 2026 New York Legal Awards
Partner Mandee Gruen has been named a Distinguished Leader in New York Law Journal’s 2026 New York Legal Awards. The annual honor recognizes attorneys who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and made meaningful contributions to the legal profession in New York state.
Mandee currently serves as Co-Chair of Goodwin’s Private Investment Funds practice and is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Industry group. As Private Investment Funds Co-Chair, Mandee oversees more than 200 lawyers representing 1,000+ investment managers and a majority of the PERE 100 — the private real estate industry’s largest capital raisers. A trusted counsel to fund managers, sponsors, and investors worldwide, Mandee advises clients on complex fund formation, structuring, regulatory, and investor negotiation matters.
Mandee is a former member of Goodwin’s Executive Committee. She has also held several leadership roles at the firm, including Co-Chair of Goodwin’s CSR + ESG practice, member of the Hiring Committee, Co-Chair of the New York Summer Program, and leader of the firm’s Private Investment Funds Associate Training Program. In the community, Mandee leads Goodwin’s pro bono support for the Victims Right Law Center, a non-profit providing civil legal representation to sexual assault survivors pursuing justice.
Mandee will be honored at the New York Legal Awards in New York City on September 3, 2026.
