Goodwin’s Germany team advised cionix GmbH (“cionix”) on the sale of its hosting business to dogado GmbH (“dogado”).
Dogado is a leading provider of online presence solutions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (the “DACH” region), offering mass and cloud hosting and digital marketing services to more than 380,000 customers. The acquisition of cionix is the latest deal in dogado’s “add-on strategy”, which the company has been pursuing since it was founded in 2006.
Goodwin recently advised Triton on the sale of dogado to Cinven and OTPP.
The team was led by Frankfurt partners Markus Käpplinger and Heiko Penndorf.
