On December 27, 2023, Soft & Cloud GmbH ("Soft & Cloud"), a portfolio company of Beyond Capital Partners Fund II, a fund advised by our client Beyond Capital Partners GmbH ("Beyond Capital Partners"), acquired the business of SB Software-Broker GmbH ("SB Software-Broker") by way of an asset deal.
Beyond Capital Partners is a specialized investment fund focusing on majority acquisitions in DACH family-owned and medium-sized companies.
Soft & Cloud is one of the leading service providers for used software licenses in Europe, offering its customers a wide range of cost-efficient software licensing solutions. Through the acquisition of SB Software-Broker's business, Soft & Cloud will further strengthen its business capacities, particularly with view to large corporate customers.
Goodwin advised on the acquisition of Soft & Cloud by Beyond Capital Partners Fund II in 2022.
