Partner Scott Chase led a Goodwin REITs capital markets team that represented the underwriters in connection with the $772.8 million initial public offering of American Healthcare REIT. The IPO is the largest REIT IPO in the last 6 years in the United States. The underwriting syndicate of 11 banks was led by BofA Securities and Morgan Stanley.
American Healthcare REIT owns and operates a portfolio of 298 healthcare properties representing approximately $4.6 billion of assets as of September 30, 2023. The portfolio primarily consists of medical office buildings, skilled nursing facilities, integrated health campuses and senior housing located in 36 states, the United Kingdom and the Isle of Man.
