Partners Diana Brummer, Mandee Gruen and Allison Schoenthal have been named 2026 Notable Women in Law by Crain’s New York Business. This annual award recognizes outstanding female lawyers in New York for their skills and accomplishments, community leadership and contributions to the legal field.
Diana is a partner at Goodwin and co-chairs the firm’s global Real Estate Industry group of 155+ lawyers across 16 offices. Her practice focuses on real estate financings, complex joint ventures, acquisitions and dispositions, and loan workouts. She also represents private real estate funds, public and private REITs, other institutional investors and their investment advisers. In addition to her practice, Diana serves on the Board of Sanctuary for Families, New York’s leading organization supporting survivors of domestic violence and sex trafficking, and is the chair of Sanctuary’s Facilities Committee. She also serves on the She Builds Committee of Rebuilding Together NYC, a nonprofit committed to preserving affordable housing.
Mandee currently serves as the Co-Chair of Goodwin’s Private Investment Funds practice, a Real Estate Industry partner, and Executive Committee member. As Private Investment Funds Co-Chair, Mandee oversees more than 200 lawyers representing 1,000+ investment managers and a majority of the PERE 100—the private real estate industry’s largest capital raisers. She also leads Goodwin’s pro bono support for the Victims Right Law Center, a non-profit providing civil legal representation to sexual assault survivors pursuing justice.
Alli is a partner in the firm’s Financial Industry group, co-chair of the Banking and Consumer Financial Services practice, and Head of the Consumer Financial Services Litigation practice in New York. She leads a national team of more than 50 attorneys representing major financial institutions in high-stakes class actions, as well as government investigations and enforcement matters. She is also a co-founder of Goodwin’s Women in Financial Services networking group. Beyond her practice, Alli has served on the boards of non-profits CASA-NYC and AJC New York. She is an active member of several bar associations, including the Governing Committee of the Conference of Consumer Finance Law and the NYC Bar Association’s Foreclosure Task Force. This marks the second time Alli has been recognized as a Notable Woman in Law.
