Goodwin Opens Orange County Office With Three Partners (Law.com)

Goodwin touched down in Orange County this week, opening an office in Newport Beach on Tuesday with three partners. The new OC outpost will be led by Richard Grabowski. Grabowski joined the firm alongside partners Ryan Ball and John Vogt, the firm announced. The three incoming lateral partners focus their practices on Cybersecurity, Consumer Financial Services, Technology, trade secrets, and Privacy. They will be housed at the firm’s new digs at 660 Newport Center Drive in Newport Beach, a scenic seaside business town not far from Balboa Island. It builds upon Goodwin’s existing footprint in California, which now numbers six offices, including the latest, and expands the firm’s reach further into Southern California. “Richard, John, and Ryan are leading the way in the cybersecurity and privacy litigation space,” Goodwin chair Anthony McCusker said in a statement Tuesday. “They join the Goodwin team with a clear goal: to further strengthen and elevate the leading cybersecurity, privacy, and technology litigation practice globally,” he said, adding, “their elite trial, investigations, and litigation skills combined with our industry-immersed strategy are a powerful combination that is unique in the market.”
