Mandee Gruen is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Industry group and co-chair of Goodwin’s Private Investment Funds practice. She is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. She is also a member of the firm’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) & Impact practice.
Experience
Mandee’s practice focuses on establishing private funds through US and international offerings, organizing fund manager and sponsor entities, advising fund managers and sponsors in establishing compensation structures and internal operating policies, representing funds and investors in the preparation and negotiation of fund formation and investment documents, and restructuring the terms of existing investment funds. She has experience in establishing a variety of domestic and international private investment vehicles, including private equity funds, mezzanine funds, hedge funds, real estate funds, and infrastructure funds.
As a prior member of the firm’s Tax Practice, Mandee has also worked on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financings, real estate transactions and international transactions and advised sponsors, managers and investors on the tax aspects of the formation and operation of a wide variety of private investment funds.
