Goodwin Advises Wexler on Acquisition by Legora
The Technology team advised Wexler, a London-based fact intelligence platform for litigation teams, on its acquisition by Legora, the agentic operating system for legal work. Through the transaction, Wexler’s fact intelligence technology will be integrated into Legora’s AI platform. As part of the acquisition, Wexler’s engineering team will form the founding team of Legora’s London engineering hub.
Wexler, founded in January 2023, is transforming complex litigation with advanced AI workflows which extract, verify, and reason over the factual record from large and unstructured document sets. The platform is trusted by many of the world's largest law firms and in-house teams at large global enterprises.
Gregory Mostyn, CEO and Co-Founder of Wexler, said, “We are delighted to be joining Legora and to continue serving the expert litigators and investigators working on the world’s most complex cases, as well as the in-house teams trying to get ahead of those cases before they’re ever filed.”
The Goodwin team was led by Adam Thatcher, Hannah Frost, Harriet Worthington, Claudia Baldelli, Dulcie Daly, Saba Rais, and Robert Greene.
