Harry Berezin is an associate in Goodwin’s Business Law department and Cannabis practice. Harry started at the firm in 2021. Harry specializes in representing cannabis businesses and other startups in corporate and regulatory matters.

Experience

Harry has extensive experience guiding cannabis companies on compliance with local and state cannabis regulations and state and federal hemp regulations, as well as overseeing the process of obtaining local and state cannabis licenses. Harry has vast experience drafting and negotiating commercial cannabis contracts and overseeing human resources. In addition, Harry has formed and maintained corporate entities and guided cannabis companies through the merger and acquisition process.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Goodwin, Harry was Vice President of Legal & Compliance at Bloom Farms, a licensed cannabis manufacturer and distributor in California and 50-state hemp brand. Harry was responsible for keeping the company apprised of changes to cannabis and hemp regulations and leading the company’s efforts to influence the regulatory landscape at the local, state and federal levels.
