Matt Feuerman is a partner in Goodwin’s nationally recognized Real Estate Industry group, advising real estate funds, investment advisors, and institutional investors on some of the most complex and high-stakes commercial real estate transactions in the nation. His practice centers on joint ventures, recapitalizations, preferred equity and structured investments, mortgage and mezzanine financings, and asset-level and entity-level acquisitions and dispositions, often involving portfolios, sophisticated capital structures, or distressed assets. Matt is frequently brought in on deals that demand inventive structuring, coordination across layered capital providers, and flawless execution under intense time pressure.

  • A prominent institutional real estate investment firm on complex construction and permanent mortgage financings for Class A office and mixed-use projects across the United States, exceeding $1 billion in aggregate value.
  • A major institutional real estate investment firm in structuring a preferred equity investment in an Amazon-leased logistics facility.
