David Pendergast is a partner in Goodwin’s Technology practice, where he represents emerging-growth companies and venture capital investors in all stages of the lifecycle. Mr. Pendergast handles venture capital financings, M&A transactions, tender offers and IPOs and various general day-to-day corporate matters for his clients. In addition, he routinely advises Boards of Directors on corporate governance matters. Mr. Pendergast has particular experience with companies in the industrial, aerospace, space and defense technology sectors.
Professional Activities
Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Pendergast was a Corporate Attorney with Latham & Watkins in Los Angeles. Previously, he was the Co-Founder and VP, Corporate Development of Arrivo, Assistant General Counsel for Hyperloop One, VP, Corporate Development & Legal Affairs for PCH International and Head of Legal for Highway1. Mr. Pendergast began his career as an associate with major law firms in Hong Kong and Phoenix.
