Danny Saposnik is a partner in Goodwin’s Technology M&A practice. He represents founder-led, venture-backed technology companies, and the investors behind them, in company sales, acquisitions, and strategic transactions.
Danny has led company sales to buyers ranging from the world’s largest technology acquirers to growth-stage strategics and financial sponsors, and has represented companies in defining AI licensing and talent transactions, beginning with Inflection AI’s transaction with Microsoft, widely regarded as the template for the deals that followed.
Danny’s practice is regularly cross-border. He began his career in Toronto before moving to Silicon Valley, and has represented companies founded in Switzerland, Germany, Israel, and Croatia in their sales to US acquirers and, in Melio’s case, to an ASX-listed New Zealand acquirer. The common thread is the work, not the geography — his specialty is technology M&A, wherever the parties sit. But deals that cross borders also cross cultures, and there Danny’s work is equal parts advocacy and translation — advancing his clients’ priorities while making sure each side hears what the other actually means.
