Private Equity Real Estate (PERE) magazine recently named Goodwin Procter the 2014 North American Law Firm of the Year in the Transactions category. PERE, a PEI publication focused on private real estate markets around the world, counted more than 50,000 votes from its readers to select this year’s winners, which were announced on March 1. This is the third time Goodwin has won in the transactions category, including in 2012 when the firm received the highest ranking for its transactions and fund formation work. Since PERE started the Global Awards in 2007, Goodwin has placed first in either the Transactions or Fund Formation categories eight times - more than double any other law firm.
