The Life Sciences team advised Gilde Healthcare, Gimv and Seventure as they led a €40 million ($48.5 million) Series C financing round in Foundry Innovation & Research 1, Ltd. (FIRE1). Participants of the financing also included New Enterprise Associates, Lightstone Ventures and Medtronic.
Gilde Healthcare is a specialized European healthcare investor managing two business lines: a venture and growth capital fund and a lower mid-market buyout fund.
Gimv is a European private equity firm that invests in selected investment platforms with a focus on Benelux, France and Germany.
Seventure is a European leader in venture capital, with €660 million under management as of December 31, 2016. Seventure actively funds innovative companies within the two evolving fields of digital technologies and life sciences, partnering with those that have strong growth potential.
