Christina Lewis and Koray Bulut Selected as National Law Journal Employment Law Trailblazers for 2022

Christina Lewis and Koray Bulut were selected as National Law Journal Employment Law Trailblazers for 2022. Employment Law Trailblazers highlights the most influential and innovative lawyers in the employment law sector.

A Boston-based partner, Christina Lewis represents employers in all facets of their relationships with employees and across a range of industries. Lewis helps clients negotiate and draft employment agreements, employment policies, affirmative action plans and separation agreements. She also advises on employment issues including employee discipline, leaves of absences, terminations, internal investigations, wage-and-hour compliance, privacy issues and reductions-in-force. In addition, Lewis routinely litigates employment cases in state and federal courts. Lewis conducts seminars and training programs on a variety of employment topics, including discrimination prevention, and is a certified trainer in both fair employment practices and sexual harassment prevention by the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD).

Lewis serves on Law360’s Employment Authority Discrimination Advisory Board. She has served on the board of directors and executive committee of the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston. 

A San Francisco-based partner, Bulut is the leader of Goodwin’s California Employment practice and Co-Chair of the firm’s Trade Secrets, Employee Mobility + Non-Competes practice. Bulut’s work focuses on employment counselling and litigation of employment and employee mobility matters. He has nearly two decades of experience representing Bay Area technology companies in a wide variety of issues, including employment discrimination, harassment, wage and hour violations, unfair competition, enforcement of non-competes and other restrictive covenants, misappropriation of trade secrets, and founder disputes. Bulut also has a proven track record of advising directors and senior management teams on avoidance or resolution of thorny and reputation-threatening employment issues.

In addition to his successful practice, Bulut serves on the Executive Committee of the Labor & Employment Section of the San Francisco Bar Association. Bulut also serves as Co-Chair of Pride@Goodwin, which is committed to recruiting, retaining and advancing LGBTQ talent, plus creating an inclusive and supportive environment across the firm.
