Benhouda Derradji

Benhouda Derradji is counsel in Goodwin’s Private Equity group.

Benhouda specializes in M&A and private equity, advising on a wide range of corporate law matters. He primarily works with French and international investment funds on growth equity and LBO transactions, and assists industrial players with their French and cross-border strategic operations (M&A, partnerships, and joint ventures).

Prior to joining Goodwin in 2021, Benhouda was an associate at Dechert LLP.

Benhouda’s recent experience includes advising:

• EMZ Partners, in its reinvestment in Ceva Santé Animale, a leading global animal health company, whose mission is to provide innovative health solutions for all animals.
• European Digital Group, in multiple transactions, including the acquisition of 2Pace, a consulting firm specializing in Salesforce solutions, the world's leading CRM platform, and in enhancing the commercial performance of both B2B and B2C companies.
• Exclusive Networks, a global leader in cybersecurity, in multiple transactions, including in the acquisition of NEXTGEN Group, a leading hyper-growth channel services company focused on cybersecurity, data resiliency and digital enterprise.
• LFPI, in the acquisition of a minority stake of Montaner Pietrini Boissons, a top-selling independent French distributor of beverages to cafés, hotels, and restaurants, alongside the founders.
• Stilla Technologies and its shareholders (Illumina Ventures, Kurma Ventures, etc) in the acquisition of Stilla Technologies by Bio-Rad, a global leader in life science research and clinical diagnostics products.
• TA Associates, in its majority investment in SmartTrade Technologies, a leading global provider of multi-asset electronic trading and payments platforms.
