The Paris Technology team advised Arcole on its majority investment in Methal, a company resulting from the carve-out of ten French industrial sites from the UK-based Bodycote group.
This transaction, carried out alongside the Benalu-Legras group as co-investor, confirms Arcole’s position as an investor committed to supporting the French industry, its performance and its competitiveness.
Methal is a leading player in heat treatment, operating across ten industrial sites in France. With over a century of expertise, the company generates €30 million in revenue with 175 employees and assist 2,500 clients through its expertise. Methal provides tailor-made solutions for a wide range of sectors, including general industry, automotive, medical, defense and aerospace.
Arcole is an independent management company authorized by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF). Arcole manages funds that support French SMEs and SMIs with significant growth potential and an annual turnover of between €20 million and €250 million.
