Summary
Not-for-profit organizations may be accustomed to building, nurturing, and presenting information about their financial health to stakeholders and to counterparties such as landlords, vendors, grant-makers, and in their external communications including annual reports and IRS 990 filings. But the ability of counterparties to meet their commitments is dependent upon their resources, too. Our panel will examine the potential consequences when a counterparty struggles or defaults in its obligations under a lease, a purchase or sale agreement, a construction or vendor contract, or even a donor’s pledge to your organization. Stacy Dasaro will be speaking at the panel.
