"This Time, It's Personal (Liability)" – Understanding Legal Exposure for Corporate Officers Who Oversee Cyber Risks

November 13, 2023 | 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM ET

On October 30, 2023, the US Securities and Exchange Commission announced that it charged a public company (SolarWinds) and its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) with fraud and defective disclosure controls in connection with disclosing cyber risks to investors. The move is the latest signal that regulators are "leaning in" on cyber, and the increased scrutiny is leaving corporate officers (and CISO's, in particular) asking whether they have previously unrecognized--personal--exposure in their roles.

Please join us on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) for a webinar that discusses the latest developments in corporate cyber enforcement and liability and how organizations and officers can mitigate related risks.

Speakers include Goodwin's Jud Welle, Kaylee Cox Bankston, Jonathan Hecht, as well as President and Founder of Next Tier Cybersecurity, Eric Friedberg.
