BOSTON, March 4, 2005 – Goodwin Procter LLP, a leading national law firm with offices in Boston, New York, New Jersey and Washington, DC, today announced the addition of Alyssa Grikscheit to the firm’s Corporate and Private Equity Practices. Grikscheit joins the firm as partner in its New York office.
Grikscheit focuses her practice on representing domestic and foreign clients making investments in the United States and other countries. She also represents buyers and sellers, including private equity funds and their portfolio companies, in acquisitions, dispositions, strategic alliances, restructurings and financings, including transactions in regulated industries such as the health care, pharmaceutical, telecommunications and defense industries. Grikscheit’s practice includes experience in securities law, licensing and general corporate law. She is fluent in Spanish and French and has a particular expertise in international transactions involving Latin America and Europe.
Grikscheit joins the firm from O’Melveny & Myers where she was counsel in that firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions/Private Equity Practice Group. She received her A.B. from Harvard College, a Diploma of Advanced European Studies from the College of Europe and her J.D. from University of Michigan Law School.
