Goodwin Procter recently represented private equity client Webster Capital in its acquisition of Best Friends Pet Care, a pet care provider with locations around the country. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Webster Capital is a private equity partnership which invests in healthcare services, branded consumer and business to business companies. The firm focuses on companies with EBITDA of between $3 million and $15 million.
Best Friends Pet care, based in Norwalk, Conn., operates in 42 locations in 18 states around the country. The company offers state-of-the-art facilities that provide pets with a safe, clean and fun environment. The company currently serves over 200,000 pet owners.
The Goodwin team was led by partner Anna Dodson, with support from partners John LeClaire, Andy Sucoff and Howard Cubell.
