Goodwin Procter attorneys recently advised Nova Capital in the sale of its portfolio company Coast Wire & Plastic Tech to Alpha Wire. Financial terms were not disclosed.
With offices in London and Chicago, Nova is a private equity firm that has pioneered portfolio buy-outs, specializing in acquiring multiple businesses in a single transaction. Nova currently manages investments in over 25 companies covering a wide range of commercial and industrial sectors across the globe, representing a transactional value of $1.7 billion.
Headquartered in Carson, Calif., Coast Wire is a designer and manufacturer of technologically advanced electronic wire and cable products for a variety of industries. For over 50 years, Coast Wire has worked directly with leading OEMs and subcontractors to support cable designs in some of the most advanced systems and harsh environments.
Based in Elizabeth, N.J., Alpha Wire designs and manufactures wire, cable, and tubing products for factory automation, packaging, automotive, alternative energy, and other technically advanced applications.
