In its 18th Annual Corporate Law Firms Rankings, Corporate Board Member recognizes Goodwin among the top 25 law firms relied upon by U.S. corporate directors and general counsel across the country.
The firm was highlighted for its transaction, advisory and litigation services to the financial, private equity, real estate and tech industries. Most notably, Corporate Board Member noted that the firm has “played key roles in some of the largest deals of 2017, including the Snap and Blue Apron Holdings IPOs, and is known for having advised Essex Properties in its merger with BRE Properties, thereby creating the third-largest multifamily REIT in the country.” Goodwin was also recognized for its “involvement in Onyx Pharmaceuticals’ sale to Amgen, Trulia’s sale to Zillow and the Paramount Group IPO, which is the largest IPO on record by a U.S. REIT.”
Conducted entirely online, the ranking reflects the opinions of 250 participating directors and general counsel of publicly traded companies on which law firms they would most like to represent them in a variety of corporate legal matters.
